Event Overview:
A signing ceremony of joint venture agreement (“JVA”) between Farlim Group (Malaysia) Bhd. (“the Company” or “FGMB”) and Fortune Lander (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“FLMSB”) had taken place at the Office of the Company in Penang. The objective of the ceremony was to formalize and officiate the collaboration between FGMB and FLMSB where both parties will jointly undertake a commercial development of a freehold land in Penang.
The ceremony was graced by Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Lim Gait Tong, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Company as the guest of honour, accompanied by the Executive Director of the Company Mr. Lim Chu Dick, together with Puan Sri Datin Seri Chin Chew Lin, the Director of Farlim Holding Sdn. Bhd. The Management Team of the Company Mr. James Ho and Mr. Oon Teng Siah were also present at the ceremony.
The signing ceremony was completed when the JVA was signed by the signatories of both parties – FGMB represented by Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Lim Gait Tong and Mr. Lim Chu Dick; FLMSB represented by the Directors, Mr. Ooi Choi Kiat and Mr. Yong Ah Yaw, witnessed by the Solicitors of both parties Messrs. Ezrilaw Firm and Messrs. W.A. Lau & Partners.
The joint venture is expected to deliver up to 400 commercial units consists of semi-detached shops and bungalow shops, with an estimated turnover of RM 160 million.
